The word REIKI (pronounced RAY – KEY) is derived from 2 Japanese words, REI meaning UNIVERSAL and KI meaning LIFE FORCE. So Reiki means Universal life Force Energy.
Reiki is a Japanese method of natural healing that aids in stress reduction, gives deep relaxation and aids the body’s natural ability to heal itself as energy is passed from the practitioner to the client. Reiki energy treats the whole person, the mind, body, spirit and emotions. It creates a sense of well being, relaxation and peace.
Reiki can help with:
Stress reduction and relaxation
Releasing blockages and suppressed feelings
Strengthening the immune system
Balancing the energies of the body
Pain relief
Clearing toxins
Relieving symptoms of illness
It should be noted that Reiki should never be used as a replacement for medical treatment but as a compliment to it.
